Creating a beautiful and healthy smile should be easy, convenient, and fun – and that’s our specialty! We have several amenities and practices to ensure our child patients feel comfortable and safe during their care.
Children love our friendly and fun-loving staff and our warm, welcoming atmosphere with kid-friendly amenities, including iPad stations, full-size and tabletop arcades, and cheerful treatment rooms with TVs above all of the chairs.
We also ensure that everything is sanitary and tidy for the children in our office, just as we would for our adult patients. However, this doesn’t mean everything feels sterile. We also use child-friendly language when communicating with your kids so they have a stronger understanding of what is happening around them. If you or your kids have any questions, you are more than welcome to ask!
Our team also recognizes that some kids are anxious or have different needs than others, so we do our best to make them feel calm and comfortable. For children who are anxious, we can sedate them so they feel relaxed or sleepy while they’re visiting us, for example.

How Do We Support Good Dental Habits at Home?
If you want to ensure your child has good dental care habits at home, we can help. We’re more than happy to teach and demonstrate to them how to brush and floss their teeth at home while also giving guidance to parents who may need to help or want to get involved.
We recommend that kids get into the habit of brushing their teeth for at least two minutes twice daily, using a soft toothbrush and child-friendly toothpaste. Kids should use gentle pressure and a circular motion while brushing their teeth.
Kids should also get into the habit of flossing regularly, though this may require additional guidance from a parent or guardian until they can get the hang of it. Children may benefit from flossing with disposable picks if it is more comfortable, as these can be easier to manipulate when first getting into the habit.
As a parent, you should also ensure your kids make it to the dentist for all of their regular checkups. Most kids will be okay with two checkups every year, though others will benefit from visiting more frequently.
